Claus Peter Ortlieb
Claus Peter Ortlieb (1 May 1947, in Reinbek – 15 September 2019) was a German mathematician (PhD), critic of work, critic of political economy, and a critic of contemporary science, especially regarding its use of mathematics. He was an editor for the journal ''EXIT!''. Ortlieb studied the University of Hamburg where he earned his doctorate 1976 under the supervision of Lothar Collatz. The name of his dissertation was ''Dualität und Näherungsverfahren bei konvexen Steuerungsproblemen'' (English: "Duality and approximation methods in convex control problems"). Ortlieb taught at the University of Hamburg as a professor at the faculty of mathematics from 1985 to 2011. Ortlieb was one of the most known names of the writers in the magazine Krisis among Robert Kurz, Roswitha Scholz, Ernst Lohoff and Norbert Trenkle. Konkret
''konkret'' has been the name of two German magazines. ''konkret'' was originally the name of a magazine established by Klaus Rainer Röhl in 1957, that was an influential magazine on the German political left in the 1960s. The magazine was dissolved in 1973 as a consequence of Röhl's rejection of the leftist terrorism in Germany (in which his former wife Ulrike Meinhof took active part). Since 1974, Hermann L. Gremliza has published a monthly magazine with the same name, self-described as a "magazine for politics and culture". The current magazine is significantly less influential than the original ''konkret'' magazine and part of the German left. It is described as leftist extremist by the Federal Office for Protection of the Constitution and also as Anti-German by the State Office for Protection of the Constitution in North Rhine-Westphalia. Urs Stäheli
Urs (from ''‘Urs'') or ''Urus'' (literal meaning wedding), is the death anniversary of a Sufi saint, usually held at the saint's dargah (shrine or tomb). In most Sufi orders such as Naqshbandiyyah, Suhrawardiyya, Chishtiyya, Qadiriyya, etc. the concept of Urs exists and is celebrated with enthusiasm. The devotees refer to their saints as lovers of God, the beloved. Urs rituals are generally performed by the custodians of the shrine or the existing Shaikh of the silsila. The celebration of Urs ranges from Hamd to Naat and in many cases includes the singing of religious music such as qawwali. The celebration also features food samples, bazaar, and various kinds of shops. The Urs of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti at Dargah Sharif in Ajmer attracts more than 400,000 devotees each year and is regarded as one of the most famous urs festivals around the world.
