Claus Hant
Claus Hant is a German writer, best known as the creator of Der Bulle von Tölz, a TV series that ran on prime time for over a decade and made German TV history with its audience figures. Hant's films have been nominated for the Adolf Grimme Awards and have been honoured with the Goldener Löwe/Deutscher Fernsehpreis, the Cadrage Succes, the Romy (TV award) and the Bavarian Film Awards. ''Eight Miles High'' (original title: ''Das wilde Leben'', lit. ''The Wild Life'') is a 2007 German biographical motion picture, set in the 1960s and depicting the "wild life" of Uschi Obermaier, a West German sex symbol and icon of the era. Thomas Hürlimann (born 21 December 1950) is a Swiss playwright and novelist. Biography Hürlimann was born in Zug, Switzerland. He is a son of the former government and federal councilor (Minister) Hans Hürlimann. He studied philosophy in Zürich and Berlin, worked as an assistant director and dramaturge at the Berlin Schiller Theater and was a guest lecturer at the German Institute for Literature in Leipzig. Bruno Ganz (; 22 March 1941 – 16 February 2019) was a Swiss actor whose career in German stage, television and film productions spanned nearly 60 years. ''The Bull from/of Tölz'' (in German: is a German television series which has been produced and broadcast by Sat.1 since 1996. As of January 2009, 69 self-contained feature-length episodes have been made. Genre Set in the small city of Bad Tölz in Upper Bavaria between Munich and the border to Austria, the series is about the activities of the local as personified by Benno Berghammer ( Ottfried Fischer), the eponymous (literally "bull", a German slang word for "policeman" much like "cop" in English, as well as an allusion to his bulky appearance), and Sabrina Lorenz ( Katerina Jacob), two who invariably, at the beginning of each episode, are faced with murder in the seemingly idyllic small town of Bad Tölz or its rural surroundings. Naim Ibrahim Attallah (, 1 May 1931 – 2 February 2021) was a Palestinian-British businessman and writer. He was the publisher of Quartet Books and the owner of The Women's Press.
