Claudio Ribeiro
Cláudio Ribeiro ( Porto Alegre, 1958) is a Brazilian conductor. Career Cláudio Ribeiro first received a BM in Music in (1982) from the Rio Grande do Sul Federal University. Following this degree he pursued further development of his conducting and musicianship in Europe, first studying at the ''Hilversum International Courses for Conductor'' (the Netherlands) and then studying with Gennady Rozhdestvensky at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena (Italy). He also holds a ''Diploma in Opera'' from the ''Accademia Lirica di Osimo'' (Italy) and a ''Master Degree in Music'' from the University of Denver's Lamont School of Music. He was a winner in the second ''National Competition for Young Conductors'' (1983), (Brazil). He started his international conducting career in 1984 covering both symphonic and opera repertoire. Catiuscia Maria Stella Ricciarelli (born 16 January 1946), known as Katia Ricciarelli (), is an Italian soprano and actress. Biography Born in Rovigo, Veneto, to a very poor family, she struggled during her younger years when she studied music. She studied at the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory in Venice, won several vocal competitions in 1968, and made her professional debut as Mimì in ''La bohème'' in Mantua in 1969, followed by a 1970 appearance in ''Il trovatore'' in Parma. In the following year, she won RAI's "Voci Verdiane" award. Established in 1895 as the Eastern Illinois State Normal School, a teacher's college offering a two-year degree, Eastern Illinois University gradually expanded into a comprehensive university with a broad curriculum, including bachelor's and master's degrees in education, business, arts, sciences, and humanities. Astor Pantaleón Piazzolla (, ; March 11, 1921 – July 4, 1992) was an Argentine tango composer, bandoneon player, and arranger. His works revolutionized the traditional tango into a new style termed '' nuevo tango'', incorporating elements from jazz and classical music. Ingrid Haebler
Ingrid Haebler (born 20 June 1929) is an Austrian pianist. She studied at the Salzburg Mozarteum, Vienna Music Academy, Conservatoire de Musique de Genève and privately in Paris with Marguerite Long. She toured worldwide. She is best known for a series of recordings from the 1950s to 1980s. Her complete set of Mozart's piano sonatas for the Denon label is still regarded as among the finest sets. Haebler also recorded all of Mozart's piano concertos (most of them twice), often with her own cadenzas – and all of Schubert's sonatas. She was one of several Austrian musicians to experiment early with period instruments, having recorded the keyboard concertos of Johann Christian Bach on a fortepiano, with the Capella Academica Wien under Eduard Melkus, as well as Mozart's keyboard concertos nos. 1-4 with the same ensemble and director for Philips Records.
