Claudine Uwera is Rwandan Politician and Economist who currently serves as Minister of State in Charge of Economic Planning in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning in Rwanda since 2018. Prior of appointment, she was the Coordinator of the Natural Capital Accounting Program (NCA). The Banyarwanda ( rw, Abanyarwanda (plural), Umunyarwanda (singular), lit=those who come from Rwanda) are the cultural, tribal and linguistic group of people who inhabit mainly Rwanda. Some Banyarwanda live in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, having migrated there from neighbouring Rwanda in waves, usually settling in the provinces of North Kivu and South Kivu.
