Claudia Kariuki is a British actress, singer, dancer and songwriter who is best known for playing Jane Seymour in ''Six'' in the West End. Early life and education Kariuki studied musical theatre at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London. Stage Kariuki made their professional debut as Sarah in ''Ragtime'' at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre in 2012. In 2014 they performed as Motormouth Maybelle in ''Hairspray'' at Leicester's Curve theatre, reprising the role after having performed it on the touring production of the show in 2013. In October 2020 they joined the concert of ''Sunset Boulevard'' at Alexandra Palace. The show was led by Mazz Murray as Norma Desmond, Kayi Ushe as Joe Gillis, Sharif Afifi as Artie Green and Zizi Strallen as Betty Schaefer. ''Six'' (stylised in all caps) is a British Musical theatre, musical comedy in the style of a pop concert, with music, book, and lyrics by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss. It is a modern retelling of the lives of the six wives of Henry VIII, presented in the form of a singing competition. In the show, the wives take turns telling their story to determine who suffered the most from their shared husband, but ultimately seek to reclaim their individual identities and rewrite their stories. The musical premiered at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2017, where it was performed by students from Cambridge University. The National Opera House (), formerly the Wexford Opera House, is a theatre in Wexford, Ireland. It was officially opened on 5 September 2008 in a ceremony with the Taoiseach Brian Cowen, followed by a live broadcast of RTÉ's '' The Late Late Show'' from the O'Reilly Theatre. Greenwich Theatre is a local theatre located in Croom's Hill close to the centre of Greenwich in south-east London. Arcola Theatre is in the London Borough of Hackney. It presents plays, operas and musicals featuring established and emerging artists. ''Sweet Smell of Success'' is a musical created by Marvin Hamlisch (music), Craig Carnelia (lyrics), and John Guare (book). The show is based on the 1957 movie of the same name, which in turn was based on the 1955 novelette of the same name by Ernest Lehman.
