Classic Case was an American Rock (music), rock band from Chapel Hill, North Carolina, formed in 2002. at Allmusic History Vocalist/guitarist Jared Draughon and guitarist Mitchell Marlow formed the band in the early months of 2002 in their hometown of Chapel Hill, North Carolina. They had played in a punk band together before but had been separated for two years, with Marlow living and studying in Brooklyn, NY. Marlow persuaded Draughon to relocate the band to Brooklyn where they would begin rehearsing with Marlow's former Sound of Speed drummer, Stephan Linde. Shortly afterward, they recruited bassist Eric Mendelson, a cohort from New Jersey, who rounded out the initial lineup of the band. Beloved is an American post-hardcore band from Kernersville, North Carolina, United States. History Beloved formed in the fall of 1999. The original members all attended East Forsyth High School in Kernersville, NC, from 1996 to 2000. They played local shows in the surrounding areas of Kernersville, where they grew in popularity almost immediately. In 2000, they independently released their first album, ''...And So It Goes''. The band toured the country with bands such as Underoath, Luti-Kriss/ Norma Jean, and Cool Hand Luke, including a performance at the Cornerstone Festival. In the spring of 2001, they gained the attention of upstart label Vindicated Records, who released their next release, ''The Running'', later that year. The xx are an English indie rock band from Wandsworth, London, formed in 2005. The band consists of Romy Madley Croft (guitar, vocals), Oliver Sim (bass guitar, vocals), Jamie Smith, also known as Jamie xx (beats, MPC, record production), and formerly Baria Qureshi (keyboard, guitar). Filter is an American rock music, rock band formed in 1993 in Cleveland, Ohio, by singer Richard Patrick, along with guitarist and programmer Brian Liesegang. The band was formed when Patrick desired to start his own band after leaving Nine Inch Nails as their touring guitarist.
