Clarrie Hindson
Clarence Melville Hindson (6 October 1907 – 12 February 2002) was an Australian rules footballer who played with St Kilda Football Club, St Kilda in the Australian Football League, Victorian Football League (VFL). Family The son of Charles Melville Hindson (1882-1947), and Mary Winifred Hindson (1887-1974), née McMahon, Clarence Melville Hindson was born at Wychitella, Victoria on 6 October 1907. His brother, Cyril James Hindson (1912-), played in 106 games for the Brighton Football Club in the VFA from 1935-1940. He married Dulcie May Barker (1914-1982) in 1936. Cricket He played Victorian Sub-District Cricket Association, Sub-District cricket with the Brighton Cricket Club in the 1930-31 season. Walter Edward John George (20 April 1910 – 14 April 2000) was an Australian rules footballer who played with Collingwood, St Kilda and South Melbourne in the Victorian Football League The Victorian Football League (VFL) is an Australian rules football competition in Australia operated by the Australian Football League (AFL) as a second-tier, regional, semi-professional competition. The Bendigo Football Netball League (previously known as the Bendigo and District Football Association, Bendigo Football Association and Bendigo Football League) is an Australian rules football and netball competition based in the Bendigo region of Victoria. Formed on 10 June 1881 by the city's three clubs as the Sandhurst Football Association, it is one of the oldest football leagues in Australia, and among its members are some of the oldest football clubs in Australia, including the Castlemaine Football Club, acknowledged as the second oldest football club in Australia and one of the oldest in the world. South Bendigo Football Club
The South Bendigo Football Netball Club, nicknamed the ''Bloods'', is an Australian rules football and netball club based in the city of Bendigo, Victoria. The club teams currently compete in the Bendigo Football Netball League. History South Bendigo was established in 1893 and joined the Bendigo Football League and remains the only club to have continued every season since without a period of recess. Since South Bendigo entered the league in 1893, no club has won more premierships. They sit third on the all-time list of BFL premierships, behind Eaglehawk and Sandhurst.
