Clara Muzzio
Clara Muzzio (born 28 May 1981) is an Argentine politician and lawyer who is the Deputy Chief of Government of Buenos Aires since 7 December 2023. She previously served as the Minister of Public Space and Urban Hygiene of Buenos Aires from 2021 to 2023. Early life and education Muzzio was born on May 28, 1981, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She was the forth child of Carlos Muzzio and Carola María Diehl Schindler. She studied Law at the University of Buenos Aires, and attended a Master of Public Policy and Administration at the University of San Andrés. Muzzio has two children with Marcelo José Naveira; Felicitas and Bernarda before her marriage to Jorge Aguado, having a third son, Benjamín. This is a list of mayors and chiefs of government of the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina's capital, since its federalization. Its first Mayor (, Intendant) was Torcuato de Alvear, who was appointed by President Julio Argentino Roca following the city's federalization. For the next 110 years, the intendant was directly appointed by the president, meaning that Buenos Aires had less autonomy than the smallest municipality. Following the 1994 amendment of the Argentine Constitution, the city gained autonomous status. 2023 Buenos Aires City Elections
General elections were held in the City of Buenos Aires on 22 October 2023, coinciding with the general election being held 2023 Argentine general election, nationwide. The Chief of Government of Buenos Aires, Chief of Government (mayor), half of the Buenos Aires City Legislature, City Legislature and all 150 members of the Communes of Buenos Aires, communal boards were elected to four-year terms. In the mayoral election, Jorge Macri, of the ruling Republican Proposal, PRO party, won in the first round of voting with 49.67% of the vote.
