Clara Bang
Clara Rønde Haugaard Bang (born 30 April 2004) is a Danish female handball player for Skanderborg Håndbold and the Danish national team. She has played at Skanderborg Håndbold since she was four years old. In 2023 she made her debut for the first team. In the 2024-25 season she became a regular part of the team, and even became a starter on the right back position. In October 2024, she was selected for the Danish national team for the Posten Cup 2024 in Larvik. However, Bang didn't play due to small injury complications. She was also part of the extended Danish squad for the 2024 European Women's Handball Championship The 2024 European Women's Handball Championship was held in Austria, Hungary and Switzerland from 28 November to 15 December 2024. Skanderborg
Skanderborg is a town in Skanderborg Municipality, Denmark. Skanderborg Håndbold, previously known as Vrold-Skanderborg Håndboldklub is a women's handball club based in Skanderborg in Jutland, Denmark. The club has over 650 members, which makes it one of the biggest handball clubs in Denmark and the biggest in Jutland. In 2021, Aarhus Håndbold merged with Skanderborg Håndbold's men's team, and they changed the name to Skanderborg Aarhus Håndbold. History The club was founded in 1982 and was the result of a merger between Stilling-Skanderborg and Vrold-Skanderborg Handball Club. Nykøbing Falster Håndboldklub (Nykøbing Falster Handball Club) is a Danish professional handball club from Nykøbing Falster. In the 2024–25 season, the club competes in the Danish Women's Handball League. They have a local rivalry with København Håndbold. History Nykøbing Falster was promoted to the top league in Denmark, Damehåndboldligaen, for the first time for 2013-14, by winning the 1st Division in 2012-13. The Denmark women's national handball team is the national team of Denmark. It is governed by the Danish Handball Federation (DHF). In 1997, it became the first Women's Handball team to hold all three major titles simultaneously (The World Championship, The Olympic Championship and The European Championship). Denmark women's handball team is the only team (women's and men's) in handball history to win the Olympic Games three consecutive times, earning the gold medal in 1996, 2000, and 2004. Handball (also known as team handball, European handball, Olympic handball or indoor handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the opposing team.
