Clara Abkar
Clara Abkar (, hy, Կլարա Աբգար; 1916 – March 20, 1996) was an Iranian-Armenian miniaturist painter and gilder. Her name is sometimes spelled Klara Abgar, Clara Abgaryan, and Clara Abkarian. Early life and career Clara Abkar was the first female Iranian miniaturist, born into an Armenian family from New Julfa the Armenian quarter of Isfahan, Iran. She was born in 1916 in Tehran, Qajar Iran. She studied at the Armenian school Davotian, later called Koshesh. During her school days, she learned painting with Markar Qarabaghian and Hakup Vartanian. She also studied Iranian traditional painting and miniature under Mohammad Mehrovan, the renowned designer of Iranian stamps. She studied at the High Academy of Fine Arts. in her miniature paintings horse riding scenes, still life, flowers, the Mausoleum of Omar Khayyám, Attar, Sheikh Ahmad and also the Firozabadi and Aliabad towers had a special place. Bozorgmehr
Bozorgmehr-e Bokhtagan (Middle Persian: ''Wuzurgmihr ī Bōkhtagān''), also known as Burzmihr, Dadmihr and Dadburzmihr, was an Iranian sage and dignitary from the Karen family, who served as minister (''wuzurg framadār'') of the Sasanian king (shah) Kavad I (), and the latter's son and successor Khosrow I (). He also served as the military commander (''spahbed'') of Khwarasan under Khosrow I and his successor Hormizd IV (). According to Persian and Arabic sources, Bozorgmehr was a man of "exceptional wisdom and sage counsels" and later became a characterisation of the expression. His name appears in several important works in Persian literature, most notably in the Shahnameh ("The Book of Kings"). The historian Arthur Christensen has suggested that Bozorgmehr was the same person as Borzuya, but historiographical studies of post-Sasanian Persian literature, as well as linguistic analysis show otherwise. "Sheikh San'Aan" or "San'Aan" is the title of a Persian mystical poem written by the Persian Sufi poet Farid ud-Din Attar. "Sheikh San'Aan" is the longest story in the book '' The Conference of the Birds''. Synopsis Sheikh San'Aan, an old man, is highly devout and the leader of his people. He has lived in Kaaba for about fifty years, accepting disciples and praying and fasting continuously. He has performed the Hajj fifty times and discovered many spiritual secrets. Khosrow I
Khosrow I (also spelled Khosrau, Khusro or Chosroes; pal, 𐭧𐭥𐭮𐭫𐭥𐭣𐭩; New Persian: []), traditionally known by his epithet of Anushirvan ( [] "the Immortal Soul"), was the Sasanian Empire, Sasanian King of Kings of Iran from 531 to 579.
