Clann Zú (album)
Clann Zú were an Australian- Irish band that formed in late 1999 in Melbourne. By early 2002 they had relocated to Dublin. The group issued two albums, '' Rua'' (2002) and '' Black Coats & Bandages'' (June 2004), before disbanding in May 2005. Biography Clann Zú were formed in Melbourne in late 1999 by Benjamin Andrews on electric guitar, Declan de Barra on vocals and bodhrán, and Nathan Greaves on bass guitar – all from Non-Intentional Lifeform. They were soon joined by Russell Fawcus on electric violin and keyboards, and Pip Reid on drums and percussion. Clann Zú played "dramatic soundtrack quality" music with "a lush blend of dark and moving contemporary western sounds tinged with Middle Eastern and Irish melodies." Lach Wooden
Lach is an American singer-songwriter associated with the anti-folk movement. As a songwriter, Lach founded the anti-folk art and music movement, which is cited as a main inspiration by contemporary performers like Beck, Jeffrey Lewis, Hamell on Trial, The Moldy Peaches and Regina Spektor in the US and Laura Marling in the UK. Lach has released six albums, a book of poetry, and has a regular series on BBC Radio 4 called ''The Lach Chronicles''. Early life Lach was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in suburban Rockland County. He learned to play classical piano at a young age, but turned to rock music after discovering punk bands like the Sex Pistols, the Clash, the Damned, and the Jam. Bass Guitar
The bass guitar, electric bass or simply bass (), is the lowest-pitched member of the string family. MY DISCO (stylised in capitals) is an Australian music group formed in 2003. It contains members from Agents of Abhorrence and Clann Zú. Background MY DISCO was formed in 2003 in Melbourne, Australia, by brothers Ben and Liam Andrews (both originally from London) and Rohan Rebeiro. They took their name from a song by Big Black. Based between London and Melbourne since 2010, their first public appearance was performed at The Good Morning Captain, a cafe and performance space in Collingwood, a suburb of Melbourne. MY DISCO became known for their use of unconventional venues, having organised performances on side-walks, in galleries, and warehouses alike.
