The Ciudad Deportiva Andrés Iniesta, is the training ground of Albacete Balompié who are currently playing in the Spanish Segunda División. Occupying a total area of 75,000 m² at the south of Albacete, the construction of the complex was launched in March 1998 and completed in April 2005. The stadium is named after Spanish footballer Andrés Iniesta. A training ground is an area where professional association football teams prepare for matches, with activities primarily concentrating on skills and fitness. Albacete Balompié is a Spanish football team based in Albacete, in the autonomous community of Castile–La Mancha. Founded on 2 August 1940, it currently plays in Segunda División, the second tier of Spanish football, holding home matches at '' Estadio Carlos Belmonte'', with a capacity of 17,524. Andrés Iniesta
Andrés Iniesta Luján (; born 11 May 1984) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder and is the captain of J1 League club Vissel Kobe. Considered one of the greatest midfielders of all time, Iniesta has spent most of his career at Barcelona, where he served as the captain for three seasons.
