Cityflyer (bus Service)
Cityflyer is an airport Coach (vehicle), coach service to Hong Kong International Airport and Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macau Bridge, Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge provided by Citybus (Hong Kong), Citybus. The service was started during the opening of the Hong Kong International Airport in 1998. Fleet At the time of the opening of Hong Kong International Airport in 1998, the fleet consisted of 62 Dennis Trident 3 double decker buses (fleet numbers 2100-2161), of which 11 had Alexander ALX500 bodies and the other 51 had Duple Metsec#Duple Metsec DM5000, Duple Metsec DM5000 bodies. Ten MAN NL262/R single deckers (fleet number 1560 - 1569) were added to the fleet in 2006 for use in route A10. Two urban-specification Alexander Dennis Enviro500, Enviro500s (8203-8204) joined the fleet in 2011, and were repainted with Cityflyer livery but retained their normal seats which differ from the high backed coach seats of the other buses. The Alexander Dennis Enviro500 MMC (sold as the Alexander Dennis Enviro500) is a Low-floor bus, low-floor, three-axle double-decker bus produced by the British bus manufacturer Alexander Dennis since 2012, replacing the Alexander Dennis Enviro500. The Enviro500 MMC is available powered by either Euro VI Diesel fuel, diesel or Hybrid electric vehicle, hybrid-electric and later Electric vehicle, fully-electric powertrains. Design In 2012, Alexander Dennis unveiled a new generation Enviro500 (also known as the ''Enviro500 MMC'') with a new chassis design. The chassis (also known as the Trident E500 Turbo and E50D/E50H) had the longitudinally-mounted engine and gearbox slightly offset to the left. The Cummins L Series engine, Cummins ISLe engine was retained, with choices of a six-speed ZF EcoLife 6AP 1700B and four-speed Voith DIWA 864.5 gearbox. Long Win Bus Company Limited (LWB; ) is a bus company operating franchised services in Hong Kong. It provides bus service between Hong Kong International Airport, North Lantau New Town and the New Territories. It is a subsidiary of Transport International. History Long Win Bus began operations on 22 May 1997, operating peak-hour services after the opening of the Tsing Ma Bridge. The first route operated by Long Win Bus was route E31 ( Tung Chung to Tsuen Wan Pier when newly introduced), served by Volvo Olympians. But later on, Volvo Olympians have been retired from the bus fleet, and were transferred to its parent company, Kowloon Motor Bus. The company's franchise was extended from June 2003 to May 2013. North Point Ferry Pier
North Point Ferry Pier () is a ferry pier in North Point, Hong Kong and it is near the site of the former North Point Estate (). It started operation in 1963. In 1979, a second passenger berth opened that is located west of the older one. Until 14 May 2016, the large open-air North Point Ferry Pier bus station, Bus Terminus was situated immediately inland of the pier, but that has now been relocated one block east, as 'North Point Ferry Pier Public Transport Interchange' under a new building, and a new building is being erected on the old bus station site. Aberdeen, Hong Kong
Aberdeen ( ; Chinese: 香港仔; ) is an area on southwest Hong Kong Island in Hong Kong. Administratively, it is part of the Southern District. While the name "Aberdeen" could be taken in a broad sense to encompass the areas of Aberdeen (town), Wong Chuk Hang, Ap Lei Chau, Tin Wan, Wah Kwai Estate and Wah Fu Estate, it is more often used to refer to the town only. MAN NL262 (A27) is a low-floor single-decker bus made by MAN from 1992 to 1998. Although predominantly produced for Hong Kong in right-hand drive operated by Citybus, some were made in left-hand drive for the mainland European market, it was still built within the similar MAN NL202 The MAN NL202 was a Low-floor bus, low floor single-decker bus built by MAN Nutzfahrzeuge from the late 1980s until 1992.
