Sidy Cissoko
Sidy Cissoko ( ; born 2 April 2004) is a French professional basketball player for the Portland Trail Blazers of the National Basketball Association (NBA), on a two-way contract with the Rip City Remix of the NBA G League. He previously played for the NBA G League Ignite. Early life Cissoko's father, Yaya (or Yakia), was a basketball player who represented Senegal at the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow. Growing up in France, Sidy played basketball from a young age and looked up to Kyrie Irving, seeing as he was shorter than the rest of his teammates at the time. He reached the under-15 level with CTC Center Essonne. In 2017, at 13 years of age, Cissoko moved to Spain and joined the youth ranks of Baskonia. Ibrahim Cissoko (born 26 March 2003) is a Guinean-Dutch professional footballer who plays as a winger for club Toulouse. Club career NEC Cissoko joined NEC in 2016, signing his first professional contract with the club in January 2021. He made his Eredivisie debut in a 1–0 defeat to Utrecht on 29 April 2022, and scored his first league goal on 8 May 2022 in a 1–0 victory over Go Ahead Eagles. Hawa Cissoko (born 10 April 1997) is a French professional footballer who plays as a defender for Serie A club AS Roma and the France national team. She also holds Malian citizenship. Early life Cissoko was born in Paris on 10 April 1997. She is one of 15 children. She began her football career as a 12 year old in when she joined FC Solitaire. Abdoulaye "AB" Cissoko (born 27 December 1999) is a French professional footballer. Career Cissoko appeared for his local side Les Ulis, playing in the French Championnat National 3, in both 2018 and 2019. In 2019, Cissoko moved to the United States to play with third-tier side San Diego 1904 in the NISA. Following his time with San Diego Zest, Cissoko moved to USL Championship side Tacoma Defiance on 6 September 2019. Makhan Bristol-Cissoko (born 26 June 2006) is a Seychellois footballer who plays as a defender for Foresters Mont Fleuri and the Seychelles national team. Kerfala Cissoko (born 16 August 1999) is a Guinean professional footballer who plays as a forward for Veikkausliiga club FF Jaro. Club career After starting his senior career in Sweden in 2018 and playing in Superettan and in Israel in Israeli Premier League with Hapoel Kfar Saba, Cissoko spent time with Finnish Veikkausliiga club Ilves on trial in April 2021, but was not offered a contract. Adji Cissoko is a German ballet dancer. She is currently a principal dancer at LINES Ballet. Early life Cissoko was born in Munich, Germany, to a German mother and Senegalese father. While growing up, the family visited Senegal regularly and blended both cultures at home. While growing up, she studied the Vaganova method of ballet training. At age 18, she left Germany to study at School of American Ballet and American Ballet Theatre's Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School, both in New York. Ablaye Cissoko is a Senegalese musician, singer and composer, who plays the kora. Career As a solo musician, he has played live shows in several countries, including Portugal, France, Belgium, Senegal, Mali, Canada, Germany, Norway and Russia. He has collaborated extensively with trumpeter Volker Goetze and they have released three albums as a duo: ''Sira'' in 2008, ''Amanké Dionti'' in 2012 and ''Djaliya'' in 2014.
