Iva Janžurová
Iva Janžurová (born 19 May 1941) is a Czech actress. She attended school in České Budějovice and in 1963, she graduated from the Faculty of Theatre at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. In 1964, she became the main member of Vinohrady Theatre and since 1988 has been a member of the National Theatre in Prague. She has appeared in many films, such as '' Což takhle dát si špenát'', '' Marecek, Pass Me the Pen!'', and the television series '' Hospital at the End of the City''. In 1998 and 2002, she was awarded the Czech Lion for Best Actress. Biography Janžurová was born into a family of teachers. Radovan Lukavský
Radovan Lukavský (1 November 1919 – 10 March 2008) was a Czech theatre and film actor. Lukavský was born in Prague, Czechoslovakia, in 1919. He graduated from high school in Český Brod, before continuing his education at the Charles University, where he studied French and English literature. However, at the onset of the Nazi occupation of Czechoslovakia, Lukavský was sent to a forced labor camp. He completed his studies at the Charles University only after being released from the camp. He also studied acting at Prague's conservatory. Lukavský got his first acting job in 1946 at the Vinohrady Theatre in Prague district of Vinohrady. He was reportedly usually cast as honest characters due to his appearance and voice. He was offered a position at the National Theatre in Prague in 1957. Jiří Lábus (born 26 January 1950) is a Czech actor, comedian and voice actor. Career Jiří Lábus was born on 26 January 1950 in Prague. From a young age, Jiří Lábus was fascinated by theatre and cinema, often attending performances and listening to radio plays. After completing his secondary education, he enrolled at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, graduating in 1973 with a role as Mackie Messer in ''The Threepenny Opera''. Josef Somr (14 April 1934 – 16 October 2022) was a Czech actor. He was noted for starring in the Oscar-winning 1966 film '' Closely Watched Trains'', as well as in '' The Joke''. Early life Somr was born in Vracov, Czechoslovakia, on 14 April 1934. He studied at the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts, graduating in 1956. Career Somr started his acting career at various regional theatres, before becoming a part of The Drama Club in Prague. Lubomír Lipský (19 April 1923 – 2 October 2015) was a Czech actor. He was known primarily for his comedic roles and also established himself as a voice actor. He was an active actor until the end of his life, playing over 300 film and stage roles. His brother was the film director Oldřich Lipský and he played in most of his brother's films.
