CinéGroupe is a Canadian animation studio based in Montreal, Quebec. The company was founded in 1974. Its shows and films have been seen in over 125 countries. Notable franchises from CinéGroupe include: '' What's with Andy?'', '' The Kids from Room 402'', and '' Pig City'' (all aired on Fox Family, now known as Freeform); the computer-animated ''Tripping the Rift'' (Sci Fi, now known as Syfy); and PBS' ''Sagwa, the Chinese Siamese Cat''. ''Mega Babies'' is an animated children's television series created by the Tremblay brothers, Christian and Yvon, who previously had made the Hanna-Barbera show '' SWAT Kats: The Radical Squadron''. It is produced by CinéGroupe and Landmark Entertainment Group in association with Sony Wonder. The series was broadcast on Fox Family Channel and Teletoon. The show was also aired in UK on Sky One's weekday mornings and later repeated on Channel 5 on weekend mornings between 2001 and 2002. ''The Kids from Room 402'' is an animated series produced by CinéGroupe and Saban Entertainment that premiered on October 9, 1999 on the Fox Family Channel in the USA, and on August 29, 2000 on Teletoon in Canada. It consists of 52 half-hour episodes, the last of which aired in 2000, with reruns airing until 2005. The series was also seen in Latin America and Europe on Fox Kids, with the latter region still airing the series after the Fox Kids channels were purchased by Disney and changed their name to Jetix; remaining on their schedule until the Jetix channels were once again rebranded as Disney XD. In the series, which is set , after the cinematograph was patented and during the late Qing dynasty, Sagwa has fun in her day-to-day life while learning and teaching valuable life lessons. ''Bad Dog'' is an animated series produced by CinéGroupe and Saban Entertainment for the Teletoon and Fox Family Channel networks, first airing on Teletoon on March 1, 1999. The cartoon focused on the Potanski family and their dog Berkeley. The show's gimmick was that, whenever Berkeley was told that he was a bad dog, he would freeze and pretend to be dead until someone told him he was a good dog. The show was inspired by the '' After Dark'' screensaver "Bad Dog". The two dogs have a similar appearance, and the "Bad Dog" of the show is named Berkeley, a likely reference to Berkeley Systems, the creators of After Dark. ''Tripping the Rift'' is an adult CGI science fiction comedy television series. It is based on two short animations published on the Internet by Chris Moeller and Chuck Austen. ''Galidor: Defenders of the Outer Dimension'', sometimes shortened as ''Galidor'', is a 2002 television series that ran on YTV in Canada and Fox Kids in the United States in 2002 with a total of 26 half-hour episodes. The series was created by Thomas W. Lynch, the creator of ''The Secret World of Alex Mack'' and ''The Journey of Allen Strange''; and funded and owned by the Lego Group.
