Ciccio Ingrassia
Francesco "Ciccio" Ingrassia (5 October 1922 – 28 April 2003) was an Italian actor, comedian and film director. He was born in Palermo, Sicily, and began his career in the 1950s, although his career only really took off in the 1960s. He starred in many comedies, mainly appearing together with Franco Franchi as the comedy duo Franco and Ciccio. During the 1980s he also did television work. In the 1966 film '' Due Marines e un Generale'' (released internationally as ''War Italian Style''), Franco and Ciccio worked with Buster Keaton. (Italian for "The two deputies") is a 1968 comedy film written and directed by Giovanni Grimaldi and starring the comic duo Franco and Ciccio. Plot Francesco Grassiani and Franco Franchini are two brothers-in-law living in the same building and working in the same office. Despite residing in close quarters, their occupations could not be more different – Francesco is a prominent politician, while Franco is a humble Usher (occupation), usher. Giuseppe "Pipolo" Moccia (22 June 1933 – 20 August 2006) was an Italian screenwriter and film director. He wrote for 96 films between 1958 and 2001. He also directed 21 films between 1964 and 1997. Most of the films he co-wrote and co-directed as a part of the Castellano & Pipolo duo. Sergio Corbucci (; 6 December 1926 – 1 December 1990) was an Italian film director, screenwriter and Film producer, producer.
