Chut (Belarusian Mythology)
Chut, or Khut, () is one of the household spirits in Belarusian mythology. He brings money, grain and success to the hosts of the house, but, not being fed, Chut could perform a cruel revenge on them. Description In Belarusian language Chut has masculine grammatical gender – that's why in most cases Chut is described as a male. Chut is a polymorphous spirit: he could look like a little boy or dwarf. The Chut, like the fiery flying serpent (), is born from an egg laid by a black rooster, aged either three or seven years, but the egg must be carried by the human in the bosom for one to three years for it to hatch. It is also able to take the form of both animate and inanimate objects — a gnarled piece of wood, old wheel, dry stump and so on. Chut appears in the houses, where the daughter either killed her illegitimate child, or tried to raise it without baptizing. Belarusians believe that the soul of this child transforms into Chut. Jean-Marie Gourio
Jean-Marie Gourio (born 1956) is a French novelist, humorist and screenwriter. He was born in Nérac, Lot-et-Garonne. He won early fame for his column ''Brèves de comptoir'', published in the satirical magazine ''Hara-Kiri''. Compilations of the columns were published annually, and even adapted for the stage. Gourio has written several novels, starting with his debut novel ''Autopsie d’un nain'' (1987). His 1998 novel ''Chut!'' was widely praised and won several literary prizes. Traditional Thai clothing (, ) refers to the traditional styles of dress worn by the Thai people. It can be worn by men, women, and children. Traditional clothing for Thai women usually consists of a '' pha nung'' or a ''(chong kraben)'', and a '' sabai''. Chut Wutty
Chut Wutty (; 1972 – 26 April 2012) was a Cambodian environmental activist who was founder and director of the Natural Resource Protection Group (NRPG). He was best known as the country's most vocal critic of the military's alleged role in illegal logging conducted by companies granted land concessions in protected forests and related government corruption. Life Wutty was born in Svay Meas village, Vihear Sour commune, Khsach Kandal district, Kandal province, Cambodia. Chut Wutty obtained a master's degree in Military Studies from Russia in 1992. Wutty is survived by his wife, two daughters, and a son.
