Church Road Records
Church Road Records is a British independent record label, founded in 2017. It is co-run by Sammy Urwin and Justine Jones, both of Employed to Serve. Originally founded as a mail-order distribution label, it was established as a proper record label in September 2020. History Church Road Records was originally founded in 2017 by Employed to Serve guitarist and vocalist Sammy Urwin. Taking its name from a street in Employed to Serve's hometown of Woking, the label was originally set up as a mail-order distributor, which Urwin used to sell "a carefully curated selection of records he liked personally, ranging from classic hardcore and death metal long-players through to fellow contemporary cutting-edge acts". Heavy Metal Music
Heavy metal (or simply metal) is a genre of rock music that developed in the late 1960s and early 1970s, largely in the United Kingdom and United States. Sexual misconduct is misconduct of a sexual nature which exists on a spectrum that may include a broad range of sexual behaviors considered unwelcome. Heriot (band)
Heriot are a British metalcore band. The band was formed in Swindon in 2014 by drummer Julian Gage, bassist and vocalist Jake Packer and guitarist Erhan Alman; in 2019, guitarist and vocalist Debbie Gough joined the band. They released their debut album, '' Devoured by the Mouth of Hell'', through Century Media Records on 25 September 2024. Slow Crush are a Belgian shoegaze band from Leuven. History Slow Crush was formed in 2017 in Leuven, Belgium, by vocalist/bassist Isa Holliday, guitarists Jelle Ronsmans and Jan Jouck, and drummer Steve Cammaerts. ''When I Die, Will I Get Better?'' is the third studio album by British post-hardcore band Svalbard, released on 25 September 2020. Recorded in February 2020 with long-time producer Lewis Johns, the album incorporates more of a shoegaze-influenced sound in contrast to Svalbard's previous album '' It's Hard to Have Hope'' (2018), as well as more clean singing, vocal harmonies, and complex instrumental parts. Lyrically, it discusses themes of mental health, with a focus on depression and suicide, as well as feministic topics including domestic abuse, online sexism and objectification. It was Svalbard's only album with bassist Alex Heffernan. Svalbard are a British post-hardcore band from Bristol, England. Formed in 2011 by co-lead vocalists and guitarists Serena Cherry and Liam Phelan with drummer Mark Lilley, the band's line-up has featured bassist Matt Francis since 2021.
