Ajiwal is a village, situated on the National Highway no. 95 (Ferozepur - Ludhiana road), in the tehsil and district of Moga in Eastern Punjab (India). It is 16 km away from Moga and 14 km away from Jagraon. History The village was founded by a Muslim prince and his family; ''Ajit Khan''. The village was called as Jittwal during the rule of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. It is said to have been established by two brothers named Bhai Karam Chand & Bhai Sahib Chand. Jat People
The Jat people (, ), also spelt Jaat and Jatt, are a traditionally agricultural community in Northern India and Pakistan. Jagjit Gill
Jagjit Singh (born Jagmohan Singh Dhiman; 8 February 1941 – 10 October 2011) was an Indian composer, singer and musician. He composed and sang in numerous languages and is credited for the revival and popularity of ghazal, an Indian classical art form, by choosing poetry that was relevant to the masses and composing them in a way that laid more emphasis on the meaning of words and melody evoked by them.
