Marcin Wrona (25 March 1973 – 19 September 2015) was a Polish film director. His film ''Demon (2015 film), Demon'' was shown at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival. He debuted at the TIFF in 2010 Toronto International Film Festival, 2010, with ''The Christening'', and was also director of the Polish television series ''Medics (Polish TV series), Medics''. Wrona committed suicide by hanging in a hotel room on 19 September 2015 in Gdynia, while a film festival was taking place there. Tomasz Schuchardt (born 18 September 1986) is a Polish actor. He has appeared in more than twenty films since 2007. He received three Gdynia Film Festival Awards and nomination for Polish Academy Award for Best Actor for 2022 drama film, ''Chrzciny''. In 2024, he won the Polish Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in ''Doppelgänger''. Life and career Schuchardt was born and raised in Starogard Gdański. The Prague International Film Festival (), also known as Febiofest, was a film festivals in the Czech Republic. It presented a wide spectrum of contemporary and retrospective examples of high-quality film including alternative, film-school and amateur works to a diverse viewing public. History The festival was founded in December 1993 in Prague by movie and television company Febiofest. The main personalities of the foundation were Fero Fenič and Pavel Melounek. Originally taking place in one city (Prague) in two small theaters, the event gradually grew (in just ten years) into more than 140,000 viewers in two countries, 12 cities and nearly 43 theaters. In 2005 the festival presented 336 films from 65 countries. The main part of festival was still held in Prague in 2017, but when the festival in Prague ended, some films were shown in other cities.
