Chris Larkin
Chris Larkin (born Christopher Stephens, 19 June 1967) is an English actor. Early life Born Christopher Larkin Stephens on 19 June 1967 in London, Larkin is the elder son of actors Dame Maggie Smith and Sir Robert Stephens. His younger brother is actor Toby Stephens. Larkin revealed in an interview that he chose his stage name in order to distance himself from his famous parents, not wanting "to trade on the family connection", and selecting ''Larkin'' in honour of his favourite poet Philip Larkin. Career Larkin trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). He is best known for playing Hermann Göring in the film '' Hitler: The Rise of Evil'', but also played Charles Darwin for the PBS series ''Evolution'' and the abolitionist William Wilberforce in the radio production of ''Grace Victorious''. The Vels
The Vels was an American New wave music, new wave and synth-pop band formed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1980. The band consisted of lead vocalist Alice Cohen (as ''Alice Desoto''), keyboardist Chris Larkin and bassist Charles Hanson. Career The Vels began when Charles Hanson, former member of the 1970s New Orleans punk rock, punk group, the Normals, invited Chris Larkin and Alice Desoto to join him for a show at the now defunct Love Club in Philadelphia. The band used low tech synthesizers, drum machines, and bass guitar. The ''Philadelphia Inquirer'' music critic, Lee Paris was there, and wrote a positive review. The Vels were a prominent fixture on the Philadelphia music scene of the early 1980s. They caught the attention of Mercury Records and signed a recording contract with them. Christopher Larkin (born October 2, 1987) is an American actor. He is best known for playing the role of Monty Green on the CW series ''The 100''. Early life Larkin was born in Daegu, South Korea. At four months old, he was adopted by Elaine and Peter Larkin. He grew up in Hebron, Connecticut, US, and his upbringing was rich with his father's Irish culture. Christopher was a competitive Irish step-dancer throughout his youth – nationally ranked – and cites his first dream as wanting to be "the Asian American lead on Riverdance." He began acting in his middle school's drama program, and obtained his first professional role in 2000 as the lead in Hallmark Hall of Fame's ''Flamingo Rising''. Christopher Larkin is a composer for video games, film, and television, best known for his work on '' Hollow Knight'' and the upcoming sequel '' Hollow Knight: Silksong''. Some of his other works include ''Pac-Man 256'', '' Outfolded'', ''TOHU'', and ''Hacknet''. Education Larkin studied composition at Brighton Secondary School, then at the Elder Conservatorium of Music in Adelaide. His mentors were Mr. John Polglase, Prof. Charles Bodman Rae, and Prof. Graeme Koehne.
