Christopher Jarecki
Christopher Jarecki (born December 25, 1976) is an American musician, radio show host and actor. He is best known for his work as the front man for Geffen Records-signed band S.T.U.N. Career Jarecki was the singer for S.T.U.N., who toured with Jane's Addiction, The Used, Marilyn Manson and the Warped Tour and played at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. The band's name stood for "Scream Towards the Uprising of Noncomformity." The political noise-punk group was also named an “Artist to Watch” by ''Rolling Stone'' magazine and MTV. He also leads the Los Angeles-based group The Bathroom Murders. The Bathroom Murders released their first album, ''Anarchiso'', in June 2009. Jarecki currently hosts his own radio show, ''A Musical Journey with Christopher Jarecki'', where his special guests discuss five songs that reflect their personal musical history. Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction is an American rock band from Los Angeles, formed in 1985. The band consists of vocalist Perry Farrell, guitarist Dave Navarro, drummer Stephen Perkins and bassist Eric Avery. Jane's Addiction was one of the first bands from the early 1990s alternative rock movement to gain both mainstream media attention and commercial success in the United States. Founded by Farrell and Avery, following the disintegration of Farrell's previous band Psi Com, Jane's Addiction's first release was a self-titled live album, '' Jane's Addiction'' (1987), which caught the attention of Warner Bros. The Used is an American rock band from Orem, Utah, that formed in 2001. The group consists of vocalist Bert McCracken, bassist Jeph Howard, drummer Dan Whitesides, and guitarist Joey Bradford. Brian Hugh Warner (born January 5, 1969), known professionally as Marilyn Manson, is an American rock musician. Warped Tour
The Warped Tour was a traveling rock tour that toured the United States plus three or four stops in Canada annually each summer from 1995 until 2019. It was the largest traveling music festival in the United States and the longest-running touring music festival to date in North America. Following the first Warped Tour, the skateboard shoe manufacturer Vans became the tour’s main sponsor, when it then became known as the Vans Warped Tour. Vans toured Australia in 1998-2002 and again in 2013. The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival (commonly called the Coachella Festival or simply Coachella) is an annual music and arts festival held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, in the Coachella Valley in the Colorado Desert. Get the Fuck Up Radio (GTFU) was an internet and pirate radio radio program located in Los Angeles. The program was broadcast every Monday night from 2000 to 2010 by Aaron Farley and Jeremy Weiss as an excuse for two friends to get together and drink beer and play music and showcase their friends' bands. A few years later, Annie Hardy was added to the team. Other regulars to the show include Luis the Humble Mexican, Chrississippi, Curtis Mead, Kevin Kusatsu, Devin Foley, Jentern and Travis Keller. The show originally aired on internet station Kill Radio. Then the show aired from 8:00-11:00pm PST every Monday night on Little Radio. The last couple of years of the show were broadcast out of a secret location in Silver Lake on Monday nights at 7-10PM on GTFURadio.com.
