Christopher C. Krebs
Christopher Cox Krebs (born 1977) is an American attorney who served as Director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency in the United States Department of Homeland Security from November 2018 until November 17, 2020, when President Donald Trump fired Krebs for contradicting Trump's false claims of election fraud in the 2020 presidential election. Early life and education Krebs was born in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1977. He received a bachelor's degree in environmental sciences from the University of Virginia in 1999 and a Juris Doctor from the George Mason University School of Law in 2007. Chris Krebs is not related to Brian Krebs. Career Krebs's professional work has focused on cybersecurity and risk management issues.
