Élisabeth Toutut-Picard (; born 17 December 1954) is a French politician of La République En Marche! (LREM) who was elected as a member of the French National Assembly in the 2017 elections, representing the 7th constituency of the Haute-Garonne department. She served until 2022. Picard contracted COVID-19 on 7 March 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. Political career In parliament, Toutut-Picard served as member of the Committee on Sustainable Development and Spatial Planning. In addition to the committee assignment, she was part of the parliamentary friendship group with Algeria and New Zealand. Neufchâteau ( or ) is a commune in the Vosges department in Grand Est in northeastern France. Geography Positioned at the confluence of the rivers Meuse and Mouzon, the little town dominates the Vosges Plain. It is at the centre of the various communications channels in the south-west of Grand Est, connecting with the ''région'' of Champagne to the west. La France Insoumise
La France Insoumise (FI or LFI; ; "France Unbowed") is a left-wing populist political party in France, launched in 2016 by Jean-Luc Mélenchon, then a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) and former co-president of the Left Party (PG). It aims to implement the eco-socialist and democratic socialist programme ''L'Avenir en commun'' (). The party nominated Mélenchon as its candidate for the presidential election of 2017. He came fourth in the first round, receiving 19.5% of the vote and failing to qualify for the second round by around 2%. The New Ecological and Social People's Union (french: Nouvelle Union populaire écologique et sociale, link=no, NUPES) is a left-wing alliance of political parties in France. Formed on May Day 2022, the alliance includes La France Insoumise (LFI), the Socialist Party (PS), the French Communist Party (PCF), Europe Ecology – The Greens (EELV), Ensemble!
