The ISKA (originally International Sport Karate Association, later also called the International Sport Kickboxing Association) is one of the major international bodies regulating sport karate and kickboxing matches, and is based in the United States. It was established in 1985 as a response to legal and revenue issues that sent the Professional Karate Association (PKA) into decline. History From 1974 until 1985, the PKA had been the most recognized worldwide kickboxing sanctioning group. It was instrumental in establishing public relay of the sport via ESPN, helping to introduce the burgeoning sport to a wider audience, and had also developed the first fighter's ratings systems. Ania Fucz (born ) is a German female kickboxer and mixed martial artist of Polish descent, based in Würselen, Germany. She competes professionally since 2005 and was the ISKA Welterweight champion. Life The native Pole Ania Fucz moved to Germany with her family at the age of eight. She now lives in Wurselen near Aachen. There she also exercises her profession as a banker. Sports career Ania Fucz came quite late to kickboxing. The foundation for her career as a Muay Thai fighter was placed on a visit to a martial arts event. Lim Su-Jeong ( ko, 임수정, born ) is a former South Korean female Muay Thai kickboxer. She competes professionally since 2004 and is a former Southern Thailand Middleweight and South Korea Muay Thai Bantamweight Champion. Her good looks earned her the nickname Beautiful Fighter. Kickboxing career Lim was born on in Seoul, South Korea. She started to train in Muay Thai for dieting when she was a high school student. She would be a quick learner, winning the South Korea Muay Thai Bantamweight title and the South Korean promotion Neo Fight Championship in 2006.
