Christina Lee (producer)
Christina Lee is an American writer and producer. She was a writer and executive producer for '' Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp'', '' Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later'', '' Search Party'', and '' Made for Love''. Life and career Lee previously worked as an executive at Comedy Central. She was consulting producer and writer for the ABC series '' Super Fun Night'' (2013–2014) She was later co-executive producer and co-writer for the miniseries '' Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp'' (2015) and '' Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later'' (2017). Lee joined '' Search Party'' as a co-executive producer and writer and stayed on for the run of the series (2016–2021). It was published by Penguin Random House (under its One World imprint) in the United States and Profile Books in the United Kingdom and is composed of seven essays about growing up as an Asian-American in a Western capitalist society, more specifically in the United States of America. This book won the National Book Critics Circle Award for autobiography in 2020. Hong defined the title of the book as the emotions felt by marginalized minority groups in a predominantly white society, feelings that are not only disregarded but also considered excessive. Cathy Park Hong (born August 7, 1976) is an American poet, writer, and professor who has published three volumes of poetry. Much of her work includes mixed language and serialized narrative. She was named on the 2021 Time 100 list for her writings and advocacy for Asian American women. Life Hong, a child of Korean parents, was raised in Los Angeles, California. She graduated from Oberlin College and has an MFA from Iowa Writers' Workshop.
