Christian Wasserfallen (30 June 1981, Bern, Switzerland) is a Swiss politician and member of The Liberals Party. He has been a member of the National Council for the canton of Bern since December 2007. Biography Christian Wasserfallen was born in Bern on 30 June 1981. He is originally from Wileroltigen, in the same canton. The son of former Bern city councillor and national councillor Kurt Wasserfallen, Christian Wasserfallen studied mechanical engineering at the Bern University of Applied Sciences. He completed his studies in 2007. Petra Gössi
Petra Gössi is a Swiss politician. She has served as a member of the Swiss National Council and has been the leader of the FDP.The Liberals party since 2016. Gössi was born in Lucerne but raised in Küssnacht am Rigi in the canton of Schwyz. She went to high school in Immensee and graduated from the University of Bern with a law degree. She worked as a tax and business consultant. In 2004, she was elected to the Cantonal Council of Schwyz. At the age of 32, she became the council president and served in that role until 2011, when she was elected to the National Council. She was also selected as the FDP leader in Schwyz. In 2016, Gössi succeeded Philipp Müller as the leader of the national FDP. She is the second woman to lead the party. Wileroltigen
Wileroltigen is a municipality in the Bern-Mittelland administrative district in the canton of Bern in Switzerland. History Wileroltigen is first mentioned in 1263 as ''Wiler sita prope Oltingen''. The municipality was formerly known by its French name ''Ostranges'', however, that name is no longer used. During the Early Middle Ages the region around Wileroltigen belonged to St. Maurice's Abbey. In 962, the Abbey donated the land to Payerne Priory, which held it until the 13th century when the '' Herrschaft'' of Oltigen acquired the land. In 1412 the entire ''Herrschaft'', including Wileroltigen, was absorbed by Bern. It was eventually combined with the villages of Gurbrü and Golaten to form a court in the bailiwick of Laupen.
