Christian Sørum
Christian Sandlie Sørum (born 3 December 1995) is a Norwegian beach volleyball player. He won the gold medal at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo. Beach career Sorum has been playing beach volleyball in national and international tournaments since 2011, starting CEV U18 with Knut-Ludvig Larsen and from 2012 with Bjarne Nikolai Huus, finishing 2nd in the FIVB U19 World Championship. With Runar Sannarnes in 2014 he became U22 European champion in Fehiye. With Morten Kvamsdal, he had his first top ten finish at the 2016 FIVB World Tour in Fortaleza and was ninth at the European Championships in Biel. Since the end of July 2016 Sorum plays with Anders Mol, with whom he finished fifth at the FIVB Major in Klagenfurt and won the U22 European Championship in Thessaloniki. In 2017, Mol / Sorum took second place at the FIVB 5-Star-Tournament in Gstaad, won the CEV Masters in Ljubljana and finished fifth at the European Championships in Jurmala. Rælingen is a village and Municipalities of Norway, municipality in Akershus Counties of Norway, county, Norway. It is part of the Districts of Norway, traditional region of Romerike. 2022 Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour
The 2022 Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour was the first edition of the global elite professional beach volleyball circuit organized by the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB) for the 2022 beach volleyball season. Since March 2022, the Tour comprised three tiers: Future, Challenge and Elite 16. The season ended with The Finals featuring the 10 best teams in the world. FIVB World Tour Awards
The FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour (known between 2003 and 2012 as the FIVB Beach Volleyball Swatch World Tour for sponsorship reasons) was the worldwide professional beach volleyball tour for both men and women organized by the ' ( FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The World Tour was introduced 1989 for men and in 1992 for women being held yearly since then until 2021 when it was replaced by the new Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour. Several tournaments were staged throughout the year. All athletes who competed in the qualifying and main draws of the tournaments earned points in the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Rankings, and after the last stage the pair that accumulated the most points during the year was declared the champion of the World Tour (only points from 75% of the tournaments in the season were considered for the ranking).
