Christian Sievers
Christian Sievers (born 1969 in Offenbach am Main) is a German journalist and evening news anchor. Career After graduating secondary school with his ''Abitur'' in 1989, Sievers studied law in Berlin and Freiburg. During his studies, he also worked at various radio and television stations: from 1989 to 1991 as a reporter at RIAS Berlin, as a presenter and reporter at Südwestfunk in Freiburg between 1991 and 1993, and from 1993 to 1995 as a presenter and editor at the same station in Baden-Baden. In 1995, Sievers completed his first law Staatsexamen. Between 1996 and 1997, Sievers worked as a reporter at the ABC station WTNH in New Haven, Connecticut, as a fellow of the Carl Duisberg Society. Since 1997, Sievers has been a presenter, reporter and editor for ZDF. From 1997 to 2009, Sievers presented the ''ZDF Morgenmagazin'', ZDF's breakfast programme. Steffen Seibert
Steffen Rüdiger Seibert (born 7 June 1960 in Munich) is a German journalist and former television host who serves as German Ambassador to Israel. He previously served as head of the German Federal Government's Press and Information Office and as the German government's spokesperson from 2010 to 2021. During his tenure, Seibert was officially ranked as a Secretary of State. From late 2016 Seibert was a member of the German government's cabinet committee on Brexit at which ministers discuss organizational and structural issues related to the United Kingdom's departure from the European Union. Previously Seibert worked for the German television station ZDF as a journalist and presenter of the popular '' heute-journal'' (until 2010). Maybrit Illner (née Klose; born 12 January 1965) is a German journalist and television presenter. Education Born in East Berlin, Illner went to school in the Friedrichshain area of Berlin and studied journalism at the University of Leipzig from 1984 to 1988. She joined the SED in 1986 and left it in 1991. Career After university, Illner worked as a television journalist at Deutscher Fernsehfunk, East German state television, until it was dissolved in 1991.
