Christian Kabasele
Christian Kabasele (born 24 February 1991) is a professional footballer who currently plays as a defender for EFL Championship club Watford. Born in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Kabasele played for the Belgium national team between 2016 and 2017. Club career K.A.S. Eupen Kabasele began his football career at RFC Chaudfontaine when he was seven years old. Kabasele then joined Eupen at thirteen years old where they converted him from playing in a striker position to a defender position. While progressing through the youth system at the club, he said: "My best year was with the U16, I scored 29 times in 29 games. The 2016–17 UEFA Europa League was the 46th season of Europe's secondary club football tournament organised by UEFA, and the eighth season since it was renamed from the UEFA Cup to the UEFA Europa League. The 2015–16 season of the Belgian Pro League (also known as '' Jupiler Pro League'' for sponsorship reasons) was the 113th season of top-tier football in Belgium. Lommel () is a municipality and a city in the Belgian province of Limburg.
