Christian Hartmann (composer)
Christian Hartmann (3 June 1910 – 29 May 1985) was a Norwegian composer, born in Asker. Hartmann composed melodies to a number of songs, including Prøysen's " Musevisa", "Romjulsdrøm" and "Æille har et syskjenbån på Gjøvik", and Skjæraasen's "Høstvise" and "Åtte øyne i hverandre". His cooperation with Thorbjørn Egner resulted in music to songs from ''Karius and Bactus'', ''Doktor Dyregod'' and ''Dyrene i Hakkebakkeskogen ''. Film music includes compositions for Finn Bø and Titus Vibe-Müller's 1946 film ''To liv'' and Per Høst's 1957 film '' Same-Jakki''. Hartmann was the brother of the journalist and screenwriter Alf Hartmann Alf Simon Fougner Hartmann (September 25, 1915 – March 21, 2004) was a Norwegian journalist and screenwriter. Asker
Asker ( no, Asker), properly called Askerbygda in Norwegian, is a district and former municipality in Akershus, Norway. From 2020 it is part of the larger administrative municipality Asker, Viken (also known as Greater Asker) in Viken county, together with the traditional Buskerud districts Røyken and Hurum; Asker proper constitutes the northern fourth and is part of the Greater Oslo Region. The administrative centre was the town of Asker, which remains so for the new larger municipality. Asker was established as a parish in the Middle Ages and as a municipality on 1 January 1838. Knut Helle
Knut Helle (19 December 1930 – 27 June 2015) was a Norwegian historian. A professor at the University of Bergen from 1973 to 2000, he specialized in the late medieval history of Norway. He has contributed to several large works. Early life, education and marriage He was born in Larvik as the son of school inspector Hermann Olai Helle (1893–1973) and teacher Berta Marie Malm (1906–1991). He was the older brother of politician Ingvar Lars Helle. The family moved to Hetland when Knut Helle was seventeen years old. He took the examen artium in Stavanger in 1949, and a teacher's education in Kristiansand in 1952. He studied philology in Oslo and Bergen, and graduated with the cand.philol. degree in 1957. Alf Simon Fougner Hartmann (September 25, 1915 – March 21, 2004) was a Norwegian journalist and screenwriter. Hartmann was from Hvalstad near Asker, and he received his ''candidatus philologiæ'' degree in 1941. Aside from working for ''Morgenbladet'' from 1950 to 1952 in London and ''Dagbladet'' from 1952 to 1956 in Paris, Hartmann worked for ''Verdens Gang'' from 1945 onward, for which he wrote over ten thousand short articles signed ''Scorpio''. He wrote revue texts from 1930 onward, including for Arvid Nilssen, whom he himself discovered in a local revue in 1934. Later he wrote for Jens Book-Jenssen, Lalla Carlsen, Per Aabel, and Leif Juster, artists at Chat Noir (1946–50, 1955–) and the Edderkoppen Theatre, Edderkoppen Theater. Per Høst (5 December 1907 – 28 December 1971) was a Norwegian zoologist, film producer and non-fiction writer. Personal life Høst was born in Kristiania as a son of Hans Andreas Høst (1874–1944) and fish food producer Ragna Julie Pedersen Svenneby (1872–1959), and was a brother of Haakon Høst. He grew up at Stabekk, finished his secondary education at Stabekk Upper Secondary School in 1927 and studied science from 1927 to 1931. He was married to Rita Thornborg from 1941 to 1948, then Ann Mari Strugstad Rolf from 1951 to 1960. The latter was a daughter of the late entertainer Ernst Rolf.
