Christen Mølbach
Christen Mølbach (8 November 1766 – 7 July 1834) was a Norwegian merchant who represented Stavanger amt at the Norwegian Constituent Assembly at Eidsvoll in 1814. Christen (Andersen) Mølbach was born in Kristiansand in Vest-Agder, Norway, the son of Anders Christensen Mølbach (1735, died 1809 in Bergen; merchant) and Andrea Anthonette Kierulff (1733, died 1808 in Bergen). Christen Mølbach established himself as a merchant and official at Egersund in Rogaland, succeeding Hercules Weyer as "sorenskriver" (senior local official) and marrying Weyer's widow, Inger Margrethe Kiærulf, who was also Mølbach's second cousin (date of marriage: January 23, 1797). Christen Mikkelsen Kold
Christen Mikkelsen Kold (sometimes spelled Kristen or Cristen; 29 March 1816 — 6 April 1870) was a Danish teacher, notable for creating the Danish Folk high school system, for non-degree education of adults. Kold was born in Thisted, Jutland. Unsatisfied with the education system of Denmark at the time, he founded a school in Ryslinge in 1851, which later became a model for the folk high-school system. Christen Schiellerup Købke (26 May 1810 – 7 February 1848) was a Danish painter, and one of the best-known artists from the Golden Age of Danish Painting. Childhood and early training He was born in Copenhagen, Denmark. He was one of 11 children born to Peter Berend Købke (1771–1843) and Cecilie Margrethe Petersen (1778–1867). In 1815 the family moved to Kastellet, a military fortification area in Copenhagen, where his father was head baker. At the age of 11 he suffered from a bout of rheumatic fever. He made many drawings during his convalescence and decided that he would become an artist. Christen Jensen (1881–1961) was an American educator who twice served as interim president of Brigham Young University (BYU). The two terms were 1939-1940 while Franklin S. Harris was doing work in Iran and then in Nov. 1949-Feb. 1951 between the presidencies of Howard S. McDonald and Ernest L. Wilkinson. Jensen was born in Salt Lake City to Christen Jensen Sr. and his wife Nel Sina Johnsen, both of whom were immigrants from Denmark. Christen Heiberg (28 November 1799 – 18 March 1872) was a Norwegian surgeon and professor most known for bringing modern anesthesia to Norway. He was one of the first surgeons born in Norway. Christen Andreas Fonnesbech
Christen Andreas Fonnesbech (7 July 1817 – 17 May 1880) was a Danish lawyer, landowner and politician. He was Council President of Denmark from 1874 to 1875. Early life and education Fonnesbech was born in Copenhagen, where his father was a dressmaker. Christen Dalsgaard (30 October 1824 – 11 February 1907) was a Danish painter, a late student of Christoffer Wilhelm Eckersberg. Biography Early life and education Christen Dalsgaard was born on 30 October 1824. He was the son of the owner of the estate, Krabbesholm Manor, located near Skive, Denmark, Skive in Jutland. He showed early signs of artistic talent, and received training as a craft painter. In the spring of 1841 Niels Rademacher, a visiting landscape painter, encouraged the young artist and convinced his parents of their son's talent.
