Christelle Vuanga
Christelle Vuanga Mukongo (born in 1987) is a DRC politician. She is a deputy in the National Assembly (Democratic Republic of the Congo), National Assembly representing the Kinshasa 2 constituency in Kinshasa, on behalf of the Alliance of Movements of Kongo (AMK), a party within Moïse Katumbi's Lamuka Coalition. Life Christelle Vuanga Mukongo was born in 1987 in Kinshasa. She trained as a journalist before entering politics, and was President of the Human rights commission, Human Rights Commission. In the 2018 Democratic Republic of the Congo general election, 2018 general election Vuanga was elected as the deputy for Kinshasa II. In 2021 she replaced Cathy Musengi as President of the Gender, Child and Family Committee. National Assembly (Democratic Republic Of The Congo)
The National Assembly is the lower house and main legislative political body of the Parliament of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is one of the two legislative bodies along with the Senate. The National Assembly is composed of deputies (fr. ''députés'') who are elected by the citizens of the DRC. Moïse Katumbi Chapwe (; born 28 December 1964) is a Congolese businessman and politician. He leads the Together for the Republic party. He was Governor of Katanga Province, located in the southern part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, from 2007 to September 2015. He was a member of the People's Party for Reconstruction and Democracy (PPRD) until September 2015. He has been described by ''The Economist'' as "probably the second most powerful man in the Democratic Republic of Congo after the president, Joseph Kabila". Lamuka Coalition
Lamuka () is an opposition political coalition in the Democratic Republic of the Congo led by Martin Fayulu and his party, Engagement for Citizenship and Development (ECiDé). Founded in 2018 to support Fayulu's candidacy against the ruling party and coalition of then-President Joseph Kabila, the coalition initially brought together seven major opposition leaders. Protests by party members reduced its membership to five, with some later additions. Over time, internal divisions further dwindled that number down to two and eventually to one, Fayulu, who has gradually opened up to the addition of several other political parties and personalities. Fayulu placed second in the controversial 2018 vote, which most independent observers deemed fraudulent, while the coalition won 112 seats in the National Assembly.
