Chris Young (singer)
Christopher Alan Young (born June 12, 1985) is an American country music singer and songwriter. In 2006, he rose to fame after winning season four of the reality singing competition program ''Nashville Star''. After winning, he was signed to RCA Records Nashville, releasing his self-titled debut album that same year. It produced two singles on Hot Country Songs with " Drinkin' Me Lonely" and "You're Gonna Love Me". His second album, '' The Man I Want to Be'', was released September 1, 2009. It included the singles " Voices", " Gettin' You Home (The Black Dress Song)", and the title track, all of which went to number 1. Young's third album, ''Neon'', produced two more number ones in " Tomorrow" and "You" in 2011 as well as the top 5 hit " I Can Take It from There" in 2012. ''Neon'' is the third studio album by American country music artist Chris Young. It was released on July 12, 2011 via RCA Nashville. The album produced four singles with " Tomorrow", "You", the title track, and " I Can Take It from There". The album sold 72,830 copies its first week. Young co-wrote seven of the album's ten tracks. Critical reception AllMusic's Stephen Thomas Erlewine praised the album for being able to deliver tracks that straddle the line between country and country pop, and allows Young to perform them with convincing delivery, concluding that "If ''Neon'' does anything, it proves that Young can manage this delicate balance all the while seeming like it's no trouble at all." Mariachi
Mariachi (, , ) is a genre of regional Mexican music dating back to at least the 18th century, evolving over time in the countryside of various regions of western Mexico. The usual mariachi group today consists of as many as eight violins, two trumpets and at least one guitar, including a high-pitched Mexican Vihuela and an acoustic bass guitar called a guitarrón, and all players take turns singing lead and doing backup vocals. During the 19th- and 20th-century migrations from rural areas into Guadalajara, along with the Mexican government's promotion of national culture, mariachi came to be recognized as a distinctly Mexican ''son''. Oakland High School (OHS) is located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, U.S. It has approximately 2,300 students. OHS is part of the fourth largest school system in the state. OHS serves the Rutherford County School school district. Since 2007, Oakland High School has offered the IB Diploma Programme.
