Chris Warner
Christopher Alexander Warner is a fictional character on the New Zealand soap opera ''Shortland Street'' who has been portrayed by Michael Galvin since the show's first episode, making him the longest running original character. Galvin quit the show in 1996, but returned to the show four years later when the show underwent a revamp. In total he has been with Shortland Street for 26 of its 30 years. Affectionately referred to by fans and the media as "Dr Love", Chris made his first appearance in the show's first episode by having an affair with his aerobics instructor. This was an infamous and controversial scene. Portrayed as spoiled and from a wealthy family that inherited the hospital that was founded by his father, the character of Chris was characterised by his patronising and illicit manner, which was contrasted in a 1994 storyline where he became addicted to morphine. Michael Galvin
Michael Galvin (born 27 March 1967) is a New Zealand actor, singer and playwright, well known for his role as Chris Warner on the soap opera Shortland Street, a character he has played almost since the show's debut in 1992 until 1996 and again from 2000 to present, and remains as of 2020, the only original cast member. He is the longest serving television soap opera actor in New Zealand. Early life Galvin attended and graduated both Victoria University and Toi Whakaari: New Zealand Drama School. He graduated from Toi Whakaari in 1989 with a Diploma in Acting. Harry Warner (Shortland Street)
Harry Warner (previously Thompson-Warner) is a fictional character on the New Zealand soap opera '' Shortland Street'' who first appeared onscreen in May 2002. Being born on screen during the shows 10th anniversary, Harry has been portrayed by several child actors and by Reid Walker since 2009. In May 2017 Harry left for an exchange program in Japan. Angela Bloomfield (born 11 December 1972) is a New Zealand actor and director. Early life Bloomfield attended Massey High School in West Auckland, New Zealand.
