Chris Totten
Chris Totten (born 5 December 1998 in Wishaw, Lanarkshire) is a Scottish former professional snooker player. He is a former EBSA European Snooker Champion. Career In March 2017, Totten entered the 2017 EBSA European Snooker Championship as the number 28 seed, he managed to advance to the final where he defeated Andres Petrov 7–3 in the final to win the championship. Wishaw ( sco, Wishae or Wisha ; gd, Camas Neachdain) is a large town in North Lanarkshire, Scotland, on the edge of the Clyde Valley, south-east of Glasgow city centre. The European Masters is a professional ranking snooker tournament that has been staged periodically since 1989 as the European Open. Between 2005 and 2008 it was known as the Malta Cup and was the sole ranking tournament in Europe outside the British Isles, before being discontinued. The 2018 UK Championship (also known as the 2018 Betway UK Championship for sponsorship reasons) was a professional ranking snooker tournament, that took place from 27 November to 9 December 2018. It was the ninth ranking tournament and the first Triple Crown event of the 2018/2019 season. The event was broadcast on BBC Sport and Eurosport in the United Kingdom. Ronnie O'Sullivan, the defending champion, defeated Mark Allen 10–6 in the final, winning his 7th UK Championship and his 34th ranking event overall. The event was the 41st edition of the UK Championship, first held in 1977, organised by the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association. The UK Championship is a professional ranking snooker tournament. It is one of snooker's prestigious Triple Crown events, along with the World Championship and the Masters. The International Championship is a professional Snooker world rankings, ranking snooker tournament. The reigning champion is Judd Trump. The 2017 Northern Ireland Open (officially the 2017 Dafabet Northern Ireland Open) was a professional ranking snooker tournament that took place between 20 and 26 November 2017 in the Waterfront Hall in Belfast, Northern Ireland. It was the tenth ranking event of the 2017/2018 season and a part of the Home Nations Series. It was the second edition of the Northern Ireland Open. Mark King was the defending champion, but he was beaten 1–4 in the third round by Yan Bingtao. Yan went on to reach the final, becoming the youngest ever finalist of a ranking event.
