Chris Terreri
Christopher Arnold Terreri (born November 15, 1964) is an American professional ice hockey coach and former player. He was a goaltender in the National Hockey League for 14 seasons, playing the majority of his career with the New Jersey Devils. He also played briefly for the San Jose Sharks, Chicago Blackhawks, and New York Islanders. Terreri won two Stanley Cup championships with the Devils in 1995 and 2000. He was inducted as a charter member of the Rhode Island Hockey Hall of Fame in 2018. Playing career Terreri was drafted by the New Jersey Devils in the fifth round (85th overall) of the 1983 NHL Entry Draft. He attended Providence College from 1982 to 1986, and was the MVP of the 1985 Hockey East postseason tournament following a 2–1 double-overtime victory over top-seeded Boston College at the Providence Civic Center, and the MVP of the 1985 NCAA Men's Ice Hockey Championship, despite a 2–1 loss in the championship game to RPI at Joe Louis Arena. Providence Civic Center
The Amica Mutual Pavilion (originally Providence Civic Center and formerly Dunkin' Donuts Center ("The Dunk")) is an indoor arena located in downtown Providence, Rhode Island. It was built in 1972, as a home court for the Providence College Friars men's basketball program, due to the high demand for tickets to their games in Alumni Hall, as well as for a home arena for the then–Providence Reds, who played in the nearly 50-year-old Rhode Island Auditorium. American Hockey Coaches Association
The American Hockey Coaches Association was formed in 1947 in Boston. The founding members coached college ice hockey but membership has grown to include coaches at every level of the sport from youth hockey to professional ice hockey, although the organization maintains a focus on the collegiate game. Aside from its collaborative and community functions, the association also names several award winners each year, most significantly the college ice hockey All-Americans in both divisions and both genders. The 1984–85 NCAA Division I men's ice hockey season began in October 1984 and concluded with the 1985 NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Tournament's championship game on March 30, 1985 at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan. This was the 38th season in which an NCAA ice hockey championship was held and is the 91st year overall where an NCAA school fielded a team. Seven teams from ECAC Hockey left after the previous year to form a new conference, Hockey East. Hockey East and the WCHA formed an agreement where games played between their respective conferences would count towards the standings in each conference. List Of All-Hockey East Teams
The All-Hockey East Teams are composed of all players from teams that are members of Hockey East, an NCAA Division I hockey-only conference. Each year, from the 1984–85 season onward, at the conclusion of the Hockey East regular season, the head coaches of each team vote for players to be placed on each all-conference team. The First, Second, and Rookie Teams have been named in each ECAC Hockey season, except for 1985–86, in which no Rookie Team was named. The all-conference teams are composed of one goaltender, two defensemen, and three forwards. If a tie occurs for the final selection of any position, both players are included as part of the greater all-conference team. The Albany River Rats were a minor league professional ice hockey team in the American Hockey League. They played in Albany, New York at the Times Union Center. Luke Bradley Bombardir (born May 5, 1972) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player who played for the New Jersey Devils, Minnesota Wild and the Nashville Predators in the NHL. He currently serves as the Minnesota Wild's Director of Player Development and Senior Director of Community Relations.
