Chris Roberts is an American professional skateboarder and host of the podcast '' The Nine Club with Chris Roberts''. Early life Roberts was born in Inglewood, California on August 13, 1977, and raised in Malibu, California. He grew up skateboarding around Los Angeles County and Southern California. Career In 2007, Roberts became a professional skateboarder with Chocolate Skateboards. In 2009, while filming for Crailtap's "Lil Slice of Life" web clip, Roberts' cat, Garvy, figured prominently in the segment. Christopher Eric Roberts (born June 25, 1971) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played for the Chiba Lotte Marines of Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) and for the United States national baseball team. Career Roberts attended Middleburg High School in Middleburg, Florida. He competed for the United States national baseball team in the 1989 World Junior Baseball Championships, winning gold. He also appeared in the 1991 Pan American Games, winning the bronze medal with the game-winning hit in the bronze medal game against the Dominican Republic national baseball team. In the tournament, he was named to the All-Tournament Team. Chris Roberts (born May 27, 1968) is a British-American video game designer, programmer, film producer and film director. He created the ''Wing Commander'' series while at Origin Systems and has been working on the crowdfunded space simulator '' Star Citizen'' since 2010. Early life Roberts was born in Redwood City, California to a British father and an American mother, and grew up in Manchester, England. He attended Parrs Wood High School, the same school as computer music composer Martin Galway. Career Royal Air Force He trained at RAF South Cerney in Gloucestershire, and RAF Syerston in Nottinghamshire and completed it at RAF Valley in Anglesey North Wales. He flew with the Royal Air Force, beginning with 20 Squadron on the Hawker Hunter at RAF Tengah in Singapore from 1966 to 1969. He then returned to RAF Valley as a flying instructor on the Hawker Hunter. He became a member of the Red Arrows, as Red 2, from 1971 to 1972. High school career Douglas-Roberts played high school basketball at Cass Technical High School and Northwestern High School. He played for Cass Tech in 2003 and 2004 averaging 28 points, 10 rebounds and six assists. After the 2004 season he transferred to Northwestern where he saw limited time due to transfer rules and didn't join the team until the second semester.
