Chris Polk
Chris Polk (born December 16, 1989) is an American former professional football player who was a running back in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Washington Huskies. Despite being considered a top running back prospect for the 2012 NFL draft, he went undrafted due to concerns over a potentially degenerative shoulder condition. He signed with the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent in 2012. Early life Polk played at Redlands East Valley High School in Redlands, California. Rated the #4 all-purpose back in the nation, Polk led his team to a 12-1 record and to the Inland Division semifinals in 2007. During his senior season Polk had a game in which he rushed for 214 yards on only 5 carries. A running back (RB) is a member of the offensive backfield in gridiron football. The primary roles of a running back are to receive American football plays#Offensive terminology, handoffs from the quarterback to Rush (American football)#Offense, rush the ball, to line up as a receiver to catch the ball, and Blocking (American football), block. There are usually one or two running backs on the field for a given play, depending on the offensive formation. Arthroscopic Surgery
Arthroscopy (also called arthroscopic or keyhole surgery) is a minimally invasive surgery, surgical procedure on a joint in which an examination and sometimes treatment of damage is performed using an arthroscope, an endoscope that is inserted into the joint through a small incision. Arthroscopic procedures can be performed during Anterior cruciate ligament, ACL reconstruction. The advantage over traditional open surgery is that the joint does not have to be opened up fully. For knee arthroscopy only two small incisions are made, one for the arthroscope and one for the surgical instruments to be used in the knee cavity. This reduces Healing, recovery time and may increase the rate of success due to less trauma to the connective tissue. The 2010 Holiday Bowl (also known as Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl) was the thirty-third edition of the college football bowl game and was played at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, California. The game started at 7:00 p.m. US PST on Thursday, December 30, 2010, and was a bowl rematch featuring the Nebraska Cornhuskers against the Washington Huskies. The game was telecast on ESPN. The Apple Cup is an American college football rivalry game between the University of Washington Huskies and Washington State University Cougars, the two largest universities in the state of Washington. Both were members of the Pac-12 Conference until 2024. First played in 1900, , the matchup was traditionally the final game of the regular season for both teams and generally took place on the Saturday preceding Thanksgiving. Hugh McElhenny
Hugh Edward McElhenny Jr. (December 31, 1928 – June 17, 2022) was an American professional football halfback who played in the National Football League (NFL) from 1952 to 1964 for the San Francisco 49ers, Minnesota Vikings, New York Giants, and Detroit Lions. He was noted for his explosive, elusive running style and was nicknamed "the King" and "Hurryin' Hugh". A member of San Francisco's famed Million Dollar Backfield and one of the franchise's most popular players, McElhenny's no. 39, is retired by the 49ers and he is a member of the San Francisco 49ers Hall of Fame.
