Chris Johansen
Chris A. Johansen (born April 3, 1952) is an American politician from Maine. He served as a Republican in the Maine House of Representatives for Maine's 145th House of Representatives district, which comprises 20 towns in Aroostook County. An outspoken opponent of state-mandated public health measures put in place during the COVID-19 pandemic, his wife later died from the disease. He resigned from office on November 19, 2021. Ricky D. Long is an American politician from Maine. A Republican, Long formerly represented a portion of Aroostook County, Maine, in the Maine House of Representatives. He was first elected to the legislature in 2010 after serving as chair of the board of selectmen in his hometown of Sherman, Maine. During the 126th Legislature (2013–14), Long submitted a bill to ban the Agenda 21 environmental action plan in Maine. He also co-sponsored a bill with Senator Roger Sherman (R-Houlton) to allow the town of Bancroft, Maine Bancroft is a township in Aroostook County, Maine, United States. WAGM-TV (channel 8) is a television station in Presque Isle, Maine, United States, affiliated with CBS, Fox and The CW Plus. It is owned by Gray Television alongside Fort Kent–licensed low-power NBC affiliate WWPI-LD (channel 16).
