Chris Greaves (Canadian Football)
Christopher Greaves (born January 8, 1987) is a Canadian former professional football offensive lineman who played in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was selected 45th overall by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers as a defensive lineman in the 2010 CFL Draft, but made the switch to offence in training camp. He played CIS football for the Western Mustangs and high school football for St. Francis Xavier Secondary School. Western Ontario Mustangs
The Western Mustangs are the athletic teams that represent Western University in London, Ontario, Canada. The school's athletic program supports 46 varsity teams. Their mascot is a Mustang named J.W. and the school colours are purple and white. The university's varsity teams compete in the Ontario University Athletics conference and the national U Sports organization. Western University offers 21 varsity sports for men and 19 for women which compete in the OUA conference. The Western Mustangs football team (also known as the Western Ontario Mustangs) represents the University of Western Ontario in Canadian university football. The Mustangs compete as a member of the Ontario University Athletics (OUA), under the U Sports association. With their first full season in 1929, the Western Mustangs are one of the most decorated football teams in Canadian university history. The team has had the most Vanier Cup national championship appearances, having made it to the title game 15 times (most recently in 2021). 2016 CFL Draft
The 2016 CFL Draft took place on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 7:00 PM ET on TSN2 and RDS2. 70 players were chosen from among eligible players from Canadian Universities across the country, as well as Canadian players playing in the NCAA. The draft was expanded to eight rounds, which is the most since there were eight rounds in the 1992 CFL Draft. This draft also featured the most draft selections since 1987 when 72 players were drafted. The entity which owns both TSN2 and RDS2 showed the first round of the draft on its cable TV platforms with subsequent rounds streamed on TSN GO online. The English language cable channel TSN2 featured host Farhan Lalji and the CFL on TSN panel including Duane Forde, Gary Lawless, Chris Schultz, and Lee Barrette who were chosen to analyze the teams' needs and picks while the French language channel RDS2 featured host Matthieu Proulx alongside analysts, Bruno Heppell, Didier Orméjuste and Pierre Vercheval. Selvish Capers
Selvish Capers (born November 13, 1986) is a former American football offensive tackle. He was drafted by the Washington Redskins in the seventh round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He played college football for West Virginia University. Early life Capers was born in Metairie, Louisiana and attended St. Augustine High School in New Orleans, Louisiana, where he was an All-Louisiana tight end. As a senior, he recorded twenty-one catches for 1176 yards and four touchdowns, which earned him first team all-district, all-metro and all-state honors. He was also a three-year starter on the basketball team. Capers and D'Andre Crittenden were the only boys to start three years in football and basketball.
