Christopher Gordon (born July 17, 1986) is a professional squash player who represents the United States. Gordon started his professional career at the James Baker & Associates 2002 Championships in Oklahoma, U.S. when he was just 15 years old. He reached a career-high world ranking of World No. 44 in May, 2013. He won a silver medal at the 2011 Pan American Games in the doubles with partner Julian Illingworth. His signature victory came in the 2012 U.S. Open in Philadelphia in the 1st round against Hisham Ashour in 5 games. Christopher John Gordon (born 1956) is an English-born Australian composer and politician best known for his film scores, but has also received major classical commissions. His film scores include, '' Ladies in Black'' (2018), '' Mao's Last Dancer'' (2009), '' Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World'' (2003) and '' On the Beach'' (2000). In 2016, Gordon ran for the Arts Party in the City of Ryde based seat of Bennelong, achieving 1.08% of the vote. In 2017, he was elected as councillor on the East Ward of the City of Ryde for the Greens and was chosen as deputy mayor, serving a single term in 2017–2018. Gordon sought re-election for a second term on Council on 4 December 2021, but was unsuccessful. Chris Gordon (born February 16, 1970) is an American former professional ice hockey goaltender. Early life Gordon was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He attended University of Michigan from 1990 to 1994, where he played NCAA Division I college hockey with the Michigan Wolverines men's ice hockey team. Career Gordon began his professional career in 1994 by joining the Huntington Blizzard of the ECHL. In his first year with the Blizzard his outstanding play was recognized when he was selected as the ECHL Goaltender of the Year and was named to the 1994–95 ECHL First All-Star Team.
