Chris Gloster
Christopher Gloster (born July 28, 2000) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a left-back for USL Championship club New Mexico United. Club career Gloster grew up in Montclair, New Jersey, where he attended Montclair High School. He made his debut for Red Bull II against Orlando City B on August 13, 2016, in the 2016 USL season. His appearance as a starter against Orlando City B made him the youngest American to start in a USL game at 16 years and 16 days. In March 2018, Gloster signed for German club Hannover after having trials at clubs in Germany. In April 2017, he was named in the United States team for the 2017 CONCACAF U-17 Championship. He played for the United States at the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup in India. On August 9, 2019, Gloster joined Dutch side Jong PSV, the reserve team of PSV Eindhoven, on a three-year deal.

United States Men's National Under-20 Soccer Team
The United States U-20 men's national soccer team is controlled by the United States Soccer Federation. The highest level of competition in which the team competes is the FIFA U-20 World Cup, which is held every two years. The United States' best finish came in the 1989 FIFA World Youth Championship, when the U.S. beat Iraq in the quarterfinal before losing to Nigeria in overtime in the semifinal and Brazil in the third-place match. Steve Snow tied for second in the tournament with three goals. The U.S. reached the quarterfinals in 1993 but lost to Brazil. Orlando City B
Orlando City B (or OCB for short) is an American soccer club that began play in 2016 and currently plays in MLS Next Pro. Owned by Orlando City SC and based at the Orlando City training facility in Kissimmee, the club plays its home games at Osceola County Stadium. The club played in multiple leagues, beginning with the United Soccer League, the second tier of the US soccer pyramid in 2016 and 2017, before electing to forgo the 2018 season and join the newly formed third division, USL League One, in its inaugural 2019 season. The United Soccer League (USL) is an organizer of various professional and amateur soccer leagues in the United States league system. It currently organizes its Championship, League One, and League Two for men, its Super League and W League for women, and the USL Academy and USL Youth for youth players. Homegrown Player Rule (Major League Soccer)
The Homegrown Player Rule is a Major League Soccer program that allows MLS teams to sign local players from their own development academies directly to MLS first-team rosters. Before the creation of the rule in 2008, every player entering Major League Soccer would have to be assigned through one of the existing MLS player allocation processes, such as the MLS SuperDraft. MLS roster rules allow a team to sign players to contracts similar to Generation Adidas contracts, which do not count against the MLS salary budget and may earn a much higher salary than the league minimum. MLS has since removed this wording from the roster rules. That means homegrown players will not count against the salary budget only if they are registered using supplemental roster slots, but will still count against the salary budget if they are registered using senior roster slots.
