Chris Bryan
Chris Bryan (born 6 March 1982 in Melbourne, Australia) is a former sportsman who played both Australian rules football and American football professionally. Bryan played in the Australian Football League from 2005 until 2009, and then in the National Football League as a punter in 2010 and 2011. Australian Football League Bryan is the great grandson of dual premiership player, Ernest 'Snowy' Lumsden, who played 78 games for Collingwood from 1910 to 1920. Bryan's great uncle was Collingwood legend Dick Lee. Bryan unsuccessfully trialled for the Collingwood rookie list in 2000 and spent the next 4 seasons playing in the VFL. Punter (American Football)
A punter (P) in gridiron football is a special teams player who receives the snap (gridiron football), snapped ball directly from the line of scrimmage and then Punt (gridiron football), punts (kicks) the football to the opposing team so as to limit any field position advantage. This generally happens on a fourth down in American football and a third down in Canadian football. Punters may also occasionally take part in fake punts in those same situations, when they forward pass, throw or rush (gridiron football), run the football instead of punting. The Adelaide Crows (officially the Adelaide Football Club) are a professional Australian rules football team based in Adelaide, South Australia. Founded in 1990. The Crows has fielded a men's team in the Australian Football League (AFL) since 1991, and a women's team in the AFL Women's (AFLW) competition since 2017. AAMI Stadium
Football Park, known commercially as AAMI Stadium, was an Australian rules football stadium located in West Lakes, a western suburb of Adelaide, the state capital of South Australia, Australia. It was built in 1973 by the South Australian National Football League (SANFL) and opened in 1974. Until the end of the 2013 AFL season, it served as the home ground of South Australia's AFL clubs, the Adelaide Football Club and Port Adelaide Football Club. Essendon Football Club
The Essendon Football Club, nicknamed the Bombers, is a professional Australian rules football club. The club plays in the Australian Football League (AFL), the game's premier competition. The club was formed by the McCracken family in their Ascot Vale home "Alisa", and while the exact date is unknown, it is generally accepted to have been in 1872. Ang Christou
Ang Christou (born 16 January 1972) is a former Australian rules footballer for Carlton in the Australian Football League. Football career Christou played for the Carlton Football Club and along with Anthony Koutoufides was a popular figure as a Greek Australian. In 2001, Christou had a solid pre-season, but missed the first month of the AFL season due to a knee injury. After his return in Round 7, Christou was noted for his penetrating kicks from defence. However, he was dropped after Round 17 playing only 13 games for the season, including a recall for the finals series of 2001 (receiving limited game time). Christou was noted for his long, accurate left foot kicks, often upwards of 60–65 metres. Whenever taking a kick, short or long, a chant from the Carlton crowd of "WOOF!" would always be heard. Val Perovic
Vladimir "Val" Perovic ( hr, Perović; born 25 September 1953) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with St Kilda and Carlton in the VFL. Born in Croatia (at the time part of Yugoslavia), Perovic emigrated to Ballarat in Australia with his family in 1958, at the age of four. Despite starting his career as a wingman, Perovic played mostly as a defender and was a centre half-back when he first represented Victoria in 1978. After 77 games with St Kilda during the 1970s he moved to Carlton in a trade involving Alex Jesaulenko. He was a member of Carlton premiership teams in 1981 and 1982, playing in the back pocket. Perovic was noted for his long right-foot kicks. During his time at Carlton, fans would shout "woof!" every time he kicked the ball. Barnaby French (born 25 November 1975) is a former professional Australian rules footballer. French attended Pembroke School in Adelaide. A champion junior rower, French was a member of the Australian under 23s rowing team. Dylan McLaren
Dylan McLaren (born 8 May 1982) is a former Australian rules footballer in the Australian Football League. He was recruited as the number 9 draft pick in the 2001 Preseason draft from Sale. He made his AFL debut for the Brisbane Lions in Round 20, 2001 against Fremantle. Dylan struggled to have any major impact on his games until 2004, when he was a consistent player in the Lions' final 22. Dylan was delisted, and picked up by the Carlton Football Club with the first pick in the pre-season draft, at the end of the 2005 season, with the intention that he would fill the back-up ruck position behind Barnaby French.
