Chorale Roanne Basket is a professional basketball club that is based in Roanne, France. The club plays in the first division LNB Pro A. Their home arena is Halle André Vacheresse. The club was founded in 1937 and the team's colors are blue and white. History In Chorale's history, the team won two national titles; in 1959 and most recent in 2007. The teams honour list also includes a La Semaine des As Cup (in 2007) and multiple European campaigns. In the 2007–08 season, the club even played in the top level Euroleague. In the 2013–14 season, the club was relegated to the LNB Pro B. In the 2018–19 season, Roanne won the LNB Pro B, Pro B championship and promoted back to the Pro A after a five-year absence. LNB Pro B
The LNB Pro B, commonly known as Pro B, is the second-tier level men's professional basketball league in France. It is the second division of the Ligue Nationale de Basket (LNB), which has organized the league since the year 1987. The regular season champion and the winner of the promotion playoffs from each Pro B season are promoted to the top-tier level LNB Pro A, replaced by the bottom two teams in Pro A. Dewarick Spencer
Dewarick Antwain Spencer (born May 4, 1982) is an American professional basketball player who plays for AlKaramah SC of the Syrian Basketball League . Nicknamed "Dee," he is tall and plays both point guard and shooting guard positions. From Mobile, Alabama, he played in college at Iowa Western CC from 2000–2001, Faulkner State CC from 2001–2002 and Arkansas State in the NCAA Division 1 from 2003–2005. Professional career Spencer made a name for himself in Europe after winning the French League championship, the French League scoring title, the French League Foreign Player's MVP, and the French All-Star Game MVP during the 2006-07 season while he was with Chorale Roanne. The LNB Pro A Most Valuable Player Award is the most valuable player award of the top-tier level men's professional club basketball league in France, the LNB Pro A. Maxi-Basket holds the vote, and calls it the referendum. The record for most MVP awards is hold by Antoine Rigaudeau who won five awards. The Ligue nationale de basket (LNB; English: National Basketball League) is the governing body of men's professional club basketball in France. FIBA EuroChallenge (called the FIBA Europe League in 2003–05, and FIBA EuroCup in 2005–08) was the 3rd-tier continental club basketball competition in Europe, from 2003 to 2015. It was organized and run by FIBA Europe. 2010–11 Eurocup Basketball was the ninth edition of Europe's second-tier level transnational competition for men's professional basketball clubs, the EuroCup. The EuroCup is the European-wide league level that is one tier below the EuroLeague level. The 2010–11 Turkish Airlines Euroleague was the 11th season of the modern era of professional Euroleague Basketball, and the first under the title sponsorship of Turkish Airlines. Including the competition's previous incarnation as the FIBA Europe Champions Cup, this was the 54th season of the premier first-tier competition for European men's clubs. The format featured 24 teams, beginning with Game 1 of the first qualifying round on September 21, 2010, and culminating at the Final Four in the Palau Sant Jordi, Barcelona.
