Choi York Yee (, born 11 May 1953From a Chinese book 香港代表隊龍虎榜, published in the 1970s.) is a retired Hong Kong football (soccer), football player and is now a sports commentator in Hong Kong. He played as a defender in South China AA, South China for 8 years. He played for the club for the first time in 1973. The defense line formed by him, Lok Tak Fai, Leung Siu Wa and Chan Sai Kau, together with goalkeeper Chow Chee Keong, helped South China to become the best team in defense at the time. He transferred to Happy Valley AA, Happy Valley in 1978. Then he returned to South China two years later. In 1978, he moved to Seiko SA, Seiko and played the last year for his professional football. On 23 February 2007, he was invited to represent SCAA 92/93 Invitation Team to play against SCAA Elite Youth in the pre-match of the exhibition competition BMA Cup organized by South China. BMA Cup
BMA Cup was an exhibition competition organized by Hong Kong First Division League football club South China on 23 February 2007 and they played against the guest team Yokohama F. Marinos of J. League. South China won by an aggregate 6-5 after penalty shootout. Ticketing Tickets to the match were not sold as the HKFA stated that the match date was too close to 2007 Lunar New Year Cup. Instead, tickets were allocated to different organizations especially South China Football Fan Club. Each member of the fan club was allowed to obtain two tickets of the match. Those who bought a two-day ticket for the 2007 Lunar New Year Cup were also able to receive a ticket to the match Pre-match There was a pre-match of SCAA 92/93 Invitation Team vs SCAA Elite Youth before the main exhibition match. Seiko Sports Association () were one of the most popular and successful football teams in the history of football in Hong Kong. The team withdrew from the Hong Kong First Division League after the 1985–86 season. History Seiko was a team sponsored and named by the agents of Seiko Corporation who entered the team into the Hong Kong Third Division in 1970. They finished runners up in the Third Division (B) League with a record of 26 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss from 28 matches and won promotion into the Second Division in the following season. In 1971–72, the team captured the league title immediately after its promotion with a record of 21 wins, 1 draw, 2 losses and were thus promoted to the Hong Kong First Division for the first time.
