Chloe Ing
Chloe Ing (Chinese language, Chinese: 伍宣菱, born 12 September 1998) is a Singaporean-Canadian figure skater. She is the 2019 Southeast Asian Games champion, 2017 Southeast Asian Games silver medalist and a four-time senior national champion. She has competed in the final segment at three ISU Figure Skating Championships, ISU Championships – the 2017 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships, 2017 Four Continents, 2018 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships, 2018 Four Continents, and 2018 World Junior Figure Skating Championships, 2018 Junior Worlds. At the 2017 Merano Cup, she became the first skater representing Singapore to win a senior ladies medal in an ISU-recognized international competition. 2018 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships
The 2018 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships were held in Taipei, Taiwan on January 22–28, 2018. Medals were awarded in men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dance. Qualification This competition is open to skaters from all non-European member nations of the International Skating Union. Skaters must have reached the age of 15 before July 1, 2017 to participate. The corresponding competition for European skaters is the 2018 European Figure Skating Championships. Each National Federation from the four represented regions are permitted to send up to three skaters/couples for each discipline. "Can't Help Falling in Love" is a song written by Hugo Peretti, Luigi Creatore, and George David Weiss and published by Gladys Music, Inc. The melody is based on " Plaisir d'amour", a popular French love song composed in 1784 by Jean-Paul-Égide Martini. The song was initially written from the perspective of a woman as "Can't Help Falling in Love with Him", which explains the first and third line ending on "in" rather than words rhyming with "you". ''Danse macabre'', Op. 40, is a symphonic poem for orchestra, written in 1874 by the French composer Camille Saint-Saëns. It premiered 24 January 1875. It is in the key of G minor. It started out in 1872 as an art song for voice and piano with a French text by the poet Henri Cazalis. In 1874, the composer expanded and reworked the piece into a symphonic poem, replacing the vocal line with a solo violin part. 2017 World Junior Figure Skating Championships
The 2017 World Junior Figure Skating Championships were held March 15–19, 2017 in Taipei, Taiwan. Commonly called "World Juniors" and "Junior Worlds", the event determined the World Junior champions in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing.
