It took place on October 4, 2015 at the Cabarrus Arena in Concord, North Carolina. In professional wrestling, a battle royal (sometimes battle royale; plural battles royal or battle royals) is a multi-competitor match type in which wrestlers are eliminated until one is left and declared the winner. Typical battles royal begin with a number of participants in the ring, who are then eliminated by going over the top rope and having both feet touch the venue floor. The 2016 Slammiversary was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). It took place on June 12 at the Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida. It was the twelfth event under the Slammiversary chronology and the first event in the 2016 TNA PPV schedule. It was the final Slammiversary event to be branded under the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling name — until 2024 — before it was changed to Impact Wrestling the following year. Andrew Everett and Trevor Lee were a professional wrestling tag team that competed in various professional wrestling promotions between 2014 and 2017.
