Chittu Kuruvi (1978 Film)
''Chittu Kuruvi'' () is a 1978 Indian Tamil-language drama film starring Sivakumar, Sumithra, and Meera in lead roles. The film was directed by Devaraj–Mohan, and released on 9 June 1978. Plot Cast Production ''Chittu Kuruvi'' was directed by Devaraj–Mohan and was also produced by them under Vishnupriya Creations. The cinematography was handled by R. N. K. Prasad. The dialogues were written by lyricist Vaali. The film was launched on 17 November 1977 with Devaraj–Mohan's mentor director P. Madhavan and cinematographer P. N. Sundaram starting the shoot. Majority of the film was shot in and around the villages near Mysore such as Talakadu and Malangi and was completed within 20 days. The voice for Meena was dubbed by voice artist Hemamalini. Soundtrack The music was composed by Ilaiyaraaja and lyrics written by Vaali. The songs "En Kanmani", "Unna Nambi" and "Adada Maamara" became hugely popular. Devaraj–Mohan
Devaraj–Mohan was a directing duo of the Indian film industry, mainly of Tamil-language films. They were known for quality films made on a low budget, thus giving a very reasonable profit for almost every film. The duo is also notable for launching one of the most prolific Indian composers, Ilaiyaraaja through their film '' Annakili''. Actor Sivakumar Palaniswamy Gounder (born 27 October 1941), better known by his stage name Sivakumar, is an Indian visual artist and former actor who has appeared in Tamil cinema and television. ''Kalki'' is a Tamil-language weekly magazine published from Chennai, India. The magazine was established by Kalki Krishnamurthy, a popular Tamil novelist and Indian freedom fighter, in 1941. T Sadasivam was the magazine's co-founder. The magazine is known for its publication of historic novels such as '' Ponniyin Selvan'' and '' Sivagamiyin Sabadham''. Singer Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer, guru of M S Subbulakshmi, and music critic S V Seshadri were also involved with the magazine in its coverage of music. Kalki Krishnamurthy also edited the magazine, which is published on a weekly basis. During his term the magazine was much more respected due to its quality. ''Ananda Vikatan'' is a Tamil-language weekly magazine published from Chennai, India. History ''Ananda Vikatan'' was started by Late Pudhoor Vaidyanadhaiyar in February 1926 as a monthly publication. The issue for December 1927 was not published due to financial difficulties. In January 1928 Subramaniam Srinivasan bought the rights from Vaidyanadhaiyer and relaunched the publication in February 1928 in a new format He paid at the rate of ₹25 per letter in the Tamil language name (ஆனந்த விகடன்) of the publication to buy the rights. He built it up into a weekly and sales soon rose. Veteran journalist and media personality and son of Subramaniam Srinivasan, S.
